We are seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to provide design engineering support to the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) project as a Fire Protection Design Engineering Integrator.
Primary responsibilities include oversite of Architect Engineering (AE) firms preparing new and modification to existing fire protection systems for the SRPPF project. Secondary responsibility includes preparation of engineering analysis, design requirement development, and generation of design output documents. Coordinate review of design documents and records among various organizations such as Operations, Engineering, Construction, etc. Provide support to construction start-up and testing, support procurement of fire protection equipment. Must be familiar with one or more of IFC, IBC, NFPA Codes and Standards.
Period of Performance: 1 yr (3180-2600 ST, 580 OT )

- Ten years of experience in the field of fire protection engineering.
- Specific expertise and experience developing estimates in a relevant area of the scope of work (e.g., Fire Protection Engineering)
- Candidate must demonstrate experience creating and revising engineering design documentation in one or more of the following areas: Fire Protection Equipment Lists; Fire Protection Design; Hydraulic Calculations, and Vendor Document Reviews.
