Safety Basis Analyst 4 - 2025-055-HAINC-CF

HukariAscendent is a Woman-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities. 

We are seeking qualified candidates to perform the following:

Nuclear Safety SME to develop and present Documented Safety Analysis (DSA) and Technical Safety Requirement (TSR) writer training. Assist client management in revisions to Safety Basis policy and implementing documents.

Can develop training course remotely, then travel to Los Alamos periodically to deliver classroom training and consult with local supervision.

Education:

Position typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and a minimum of fifteen years of related experience. Equivalent education and experience appropriate for performing safety analysis work may be considered. Requires passing a review by the Safety Basis Division Qualification Review Board.

Must have:

Expert level knowledge to DOE SB orders and standards.

Qualification present or past as National Training Center master instructor level for Unreviewed Safety Question and Technical Safety Requirements classes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active or Recent DOE "Q" Clearance

Local to the greater Los Alamos/Santa Fe Area

Previous LANL training experience.

Duration: Award through 09/30/2026
