Project Manager I or II 2024-481 HAINC-CF
This work is under the LLLW/Sludge project and a shift in resource type for the MSRE Feasibility Study.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for regulatory strategy for Nuclear Operations Program. This would include integrating multiple regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and timely project completion.
• Must be highly knowledgeable of RCRA, CERCLA and NPDES regulations
• Must be highly knowledgeable of DOE Order 435.1
• Must be familiar with Site Treatment Plans
• Experienced in interpreting requirements under RCRA and NPDES permits
• Mixed radiological waste management/treatment oversight experience
• Negotiation experience with state and federal regulators (ideally TDEC and EPA Region 4).
• Experience in making regulatory determinations and obtaining regulatory agreements
• Experience in modifying permits and obtaining regulator approval.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Presentation experience.
• High attention to detail.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
EXPERIENCE: 10+ years engineering, operations/maintenance, M&O, construction, project controls, and/or procurement experience.
PROJECT MANAGER II – LEVEL 8P
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
EXPERIENCE: 12+ years engineering, operations/maintenance, M&O, construction, project controls, and/or procurement experience. Proven performance as Project Manager on previous project(s). Capable of performing as the highest project lead on a medium-risk, medium-complexity project. Has experience in various project management activities such as planning, budgeting and performance management
