The current process is implemented by 24590-WTP-GPP-RAOP-OP-0002, Facility Hazard List. The intent of the process is to provide work area/environment hazard information for the planning of activity level work and inform personnel of identified hazards to meet 10 CFR 851 .21 section (a)(S) Hazard Identification and Assessment requirements. The scope includes evaluating the design of each facility, associated equipment, operations, and procedures to identify potential workplace hazards. The goal is to establish a robust database of hazards a worker could encounter when performing maintenance on a system within the facility. The interaction of workplace hazards and other hazards needs to be considered. The deliverable is critical to the implementation of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) and directly supports ISMS core function two, identify and analyze the hazards, and three, develop and implement hazard controls.

Agency employee will evaluate WTP'S Facility Hazard List (FHL) process and database. From the evaluation, revise the current procedure and database to support usage in jobsite hazard analysis. Once the process has been revised and necessary WTCC personnel trained, conduct multiple surveys of WTP process facilities in the Balance of Facilities (BOF), Analytical Laboratory (Lab), Low Activity Waste Facility (LAW}, and the Effluent Management Facility (EMF) to identify and categorize facility hazards and update the database as necessary to establish an accurate baseline.
