We are seeking an Operations Specialist. The scope of this activity is to evaluate, revise the process currently implemented to identify existing and potential facility hazards, categorize and catalog these hazards in a user accessible database, and perform a complete surveillance on every process facility to establish a facility hazard baseline. The current process is implemented by 24590-WTP-GPP-RAOP-OP-0002, Facility Hazard List. The intent of the process is to provide work area/environment hazard information for the planning of activity level work and inform personnel of identified hazards to meet 10 CFR 851 .21 section (a)(S) Hazard Identification and Assessment requirements. The scope includes evaluating the design of each facility, associated equipment, operations, and procedures to identify potential workplace hazards. The goal is to establish a robust database of hazards a worker could encounter when performing maintenance on a system within the facility. The interaction of workplace hazards and other hazards needs to be considered. The deliverable is critical to the implementation of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) and directly supports ISMS core function two, identify and analyze the hazards, and three, develop and implement hazard controls.
Agency employee will evaluate WTP'S Facility Hazard List (FHL) process and database. From the evaluation, revise the current procedure and database to support usage in jobsite hazard analysis. Once the process has been revised and necessary WTCC personnel trained, conduct multiple surveys of WTP process facilities in the Balance of Facilities (BOF), Analytical Laboratory (Lab), Low Activity Waste Facility (LAW}, and the Effluent Management Facility (EMF) to identify and categorize facility hazards and update the database as necessary to establish an accurate baseline. In addition, throughout the tenure provide training to Facility Management personnel on the FHL process and use of the database.

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or quality assurance from an accredited university and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a field of engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, operations or quality assurance.
• In lieu of formal degree, a minimum of 12 years of experience in a field of engineering, testing, or operations.
• Upon reporting, must be able to complete and pass a medical evaluation for badging purposes.
Must have full mobility, be able to walk on uneven or broken surfaces (rocks, gravel, etc.). The
examination includes, but is not limited to ability to pass blood pressure test, able to bend, twist,
pull, push, climb, and lift more than 20 lbs.
• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
