Job Description :

HukariAscendent is a Woman-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities.


 


We are seeking a Mechanical Process Engineers to support the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) project. 


 


Responsibilities:



  • Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects through project startup.

  • Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.

  • Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design.

  • Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.

  • Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.


Work Location: Greenville, SC.

Required Qualifications :

For all skill levels, must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.




Process/Mechanical Engineer:  Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 or more years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.


 


Senior Process/Mechanical Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.


 


Principal Process/Mechanical Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
