HukariAscendent is a Woman-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities.
We are seeking a qualified Lead Recruiter to perform the following:
Responsibilities:
a. Review opportunities for Go/NoGo determination and assign priority to opportunities that advance.
b. Assign opportunities to Recruiting Team.
c. Supervise the recruiting department to include:
• Identify, track, and maintain real time status of assigned opportunities and maintain awareness of all open opportunities.. Use recruiting software for tracking, status, and conducting resource queries.
• Oversee and monitor submittals by recruiters to ensure resume and submittal standards are met and to ensure candidates meet position requirements

• Dissemination of information (e.g.: non-award notices, Hot Candidate/At-risk list.
d. Resolving general recruiting issues as appropriate with BD Contracts and HR.
e. Oversee and assist recruiting department activities in internet advertising, social networking, posting and newsletter postings and content.
f. Monitor recruiting processes for continuous improvement and initiate changes needed to optimize recruiting efficiency and increase identification of high caliber candidates.
g. Monitor performance of recruiting staff and make recommendations for staffing and personnel actions to executive management.
h. Perform recruiting responsibilities to include:
• Actively recruit candidates for open positions by posting open positions, mining social media, participating in local job fairs.
• Ensure routine initial and follow-up calls are made to solicit prospective candidates, provide status and feedback on selection. Periodic calls to employees to solicit updated experience, potential referrals, and information on project needs.
• Calling and emailing prospective candidates, providing follow-up placement status
• Support business development activities and proposal development by identifying candidates as requested.
• Follow recruiting process procedure, process flowcharts and desktop instructions and initiate changes as needed to optimize recruiting processes.
• Maintaining resume files(original and Hukari formatted version(s) in Hukari Resume File)in accordance with records management requirements.
• Participate in local/community events to promote HukariAscendent and generate BD and candidate leads.
• Actively recruit candidates for open positions by posting open positions, mining social media and participating in job fairs, conferences, or other forums for attracting candidates.
• Review and format resumes, prepare submittal packages and coordinate with contracts department and HR as needed.
• Ensure routine initial and follow-up calls are made to solicit prospective candidates, provide status and feedback on selection. Periodic calls to employees to solicit updated experience, potential referrals, and information on project needs.
• Obtain initial new hire information from successful candidates.
• Actively promotes the reporting of project work by field personnel.
Experience:
Required: Minimum 5-10 years experience in technical recruiting, at least 2 years experience leading a team, experience using an applicant tracking system (AKKEN or Avionte preferred).
Preferred: BS degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field. Experience in federal contracting experience in the nuclear industry.
