We are seeking qualified candidates to perform the following:

Position Description and Duties:

• Provide instrumentation & control design support to the project team.


• Work in conjunction with Project Manager & Project Engineer to ensure that project scope of


• work for equipment package control system design are clearly defined for the project.


• Prepare technical specifications defining the project requirements for third party control


• system configuration & selection


• Select control system hardware based on project specifications and requirements.


• Review & approve final control system architecture for the equipment control package.


• Review and manage deliverables of the control system to ensure adherence to the


• requirements of the project.


• Design, develop, and debug PLC so􀅌ware programs and electrical control systems.


• Prepare control schema􀆟cs, cable schedules, wiring diagrams and logic diagrams.


• Provide engineering support to procurement for instrumentation and control systems.


• Provide engineering support during control package inspection, calibration, loop checking,


• and factory acceptance test (FAT).


• Provide start-up assistance during commissioning of equipment package at site.

Duration:

• 4 week period following NTP to WTU vendor, for detailed PLC design review


• 2 week period during project startup & commissioning (on-call for review/troubleshooting, possible travel to site required)


• Optional: 1 week period on-call, possible travel to vendor site (Tacoma, WA) for factory acceptance testing period (functional testing)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years I&C experience in a process control environment


• Familiarity with HMI’s, PLC programming, logic design, and PID loop design


• Able to read & understand P&ID’s PFD’s, func􀆟onal and loop diagrams
