We are seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to provide design and construction oversight of structural engineering tasks. Structural engineering tasks include: analysis of structural systems for both static and dynamic loads using manual computation and computer programs; design of concrete structures; design of steel, aluminum, stainless steel, timber and composite structures; foundation and anchorage design; structural analysis for impact, overpressure, and other accident conditions; preparation of CSI specifications; and review of vendor documents.
Individual at times will be required to travel off-site to interface with vendors, fabricators and other Engineering organizations.
Period of performance: One (1) year from the date of award with two (2) one year options.

Education: BS Degree in Civil Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in either Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience:
- Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years’ experience in design and analysis of nuclear or industrial facilities.
- Candidate must demonstrate working knowledge of STAAD.
- Candidate must demonstrate working knowledge of National Codes and Standards such as IBC, AISC (ASD and LRFD), ACI, AWS, NFPA, and OSHA.
- Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.
- Candidate must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.
