HukariAscendent is a Woman-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and other Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities. 



We are seeking a Business Process Support Intern.





Job Overview: 




We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Process Support Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting business processes within a growing small business. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about process improvement and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. 






Key Responsibilities: 






  • Process Documentation: Assist in documenting and mapping current business processes. Help identify areas for improvement and develop detailed process flowcharts and documentation. 








  • Data Preparation: Prepare data for input into ERP system during system transition process 








  • Quality Review: Review data after input for accuracy and consistency. 








  • Systems and Tools: Assist in the use of business process management software and tools. Provide support in troubleshooting and maintaining these systems. 








  • Contract Document Management: Collect contract documentationIncludes organization of files for maintenance of contracts. 








  • Support and Coordination: Provide administrative support to the VP Administration, Office Manager, Controller and Contracts Manager. Coordinate and schedule meetings, track project progress, and assist with other tasks as needed. 








  • Process Improvement: Contribute to brainstorming sessions and discussions on process improvement initiatives. Research best practices and assist in implementing new strategies. 







Location: Wheat Ridge, Colorado





Anticipated Schedule:  Flexible schedule, hours vary from 20-30 hours per week with heavier schedule November - January

Required Qualifications :
 

Qualifications: 







  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply. 








  • Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with business process management tools (e.g. Microsoft SL, Acumatica, JAMIS) is a plus. 








  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present information clearly and concisely. 








  • Attention to Detail:High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. 








  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments. 






Preferred Qualifications: 






  • Experience with business systems. 








  • Basic understanding of business process management concepts.
