Job Description :

HukariAscendent is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and other Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities. 


HukariAscendent is looking for two Technical Specialist IIs (Training Developers) to provide support in the following areas:

  • Training Content Review: Analyzing existing training items, creating a prioritization list for training revisions and corrections, scheduling and/or conducting course revisions; and

  • Training Assignment Review: Evaluate existing training assignment processes and tools for the various personnel group, revise tools and process as appropriate, validate assigned training for all active personnel in the LMS.

The period of performance: Award - 12/31/2020.

Work Location: Remote, NLV, NNSS.

Required Qualifications :

Candidates must have a basic understanding of regulatory programs such as DoD or DOE. Undergraduate BA degree or equivalent degree required, advanced degree desirable. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or at least 11 years of relevant experience.


Candidates should have the following:

  •  Experience in Curriculum development and management.  Translated, this means we need someone who can develop curriculum that includes all the requirements (qualification programs, training programs, and/or Certification programs.) 

  • Experience with ADDIE or the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)

Additionally, candidates should be able to describe how they would develop a qualification program (or the other two types of programs).  Candidates should be prepared to describe or explain experience with ADDIE or SAT, and tell the steps of the ADDIE or SAT model.

Curriculum – means a program (training qual or cert) that includes all the training requirements that qualify someone to do a job.
